Myofascial Release (MFR) Massage Course
Date(s) - To Be Confirmed

This is a one day professional diploma course.

Have you ever had a client who you see every few weeks and are feeling frustrated that they only experience relief from their tightness, tension or pain for a few days at a time after their session?

MFR is the missing link to massage therapy and will open up a whole new world for you as a therapist.

MFR is the new Buzz word for the therapist looking for advanced techniques to release pain and old tension patterns of their clients.

MFR focuses on delivering sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue to eliminate pain and restore motion. Fascia is made up of collagen fibres.

It is believed that many people who suffer from pain, dysfunction and lack of mobility may have Myofascial restrictions.

The John F Barnes Myofascial Release Approach and CranioSacral Therapy are a hands on treatment that can be applied to any part of the body to deal with tension, tightness and pain.

It allows the body to re-organise itself, removing restrictions, freeing up tension creating a more mobile, flexible and pain-free body.

This course is designed for the therapist looking to add these techniques to their existing skills, so they are available to use straight away.

On the day of your course we will cover many techniques which will enable you to be able to provide a beneficial MFR treatment for your client. Leaving them feeling less restricted with much more movement and mobility. Some of these include Skin Rolling, Psoas Release, Hip Flexor Release, Transverse Plane Releases, Unwinding,

No case studies are required or written exams.

Certificates are given on the day, on completion of a successful practical assessment with your tutor.

Are you looking for a training provider who really cares for their students?

We understand how important training is for a massage therapist. New courses, styles and techniques are introduced all the time.

As therapists in such a thriving industry, we want to keep up to date and add as many skills to our massage toolbox as we can, not just to encourage our personal growth but also to be able to build our existing client base and reach out to a whole new pool of clients in turn building our business.

We pride ourselves on delivering a very high standard of teaching for our students. We achieve this by only offering small classes, a maximum of 6 per course. This gives you the invaluable opportunity to receive practically one to one tuition throughout the day.

We do not ask for models! Every student will have the opportunity to both practice and receive these new techniques, as we understand how important it is to have felt these treatments as a client and not just as a therapist providing the treatment.
